Overcome anxiety, PTSD and depression with specialised hypnotherapy designed just for you
Living with anxiety and trauma can feel like you’re carrying an invisible weight. The constant tension, racing thoughts, and overwhelming emotions can make even simple daily tasks feel like you’re climbing a mountain.
Perhaps you find yourself stuck in patterns that hold you back, or haunted by experiences that seem impossible to move past.
Well-meaning advice from friends and family just makes you feel worse, and each new strategy or technique you try leaves you feeling more hopeless than before.
I’ve been in your shoes. At one point, I struggled with anxiety so intensely that I worried I might never recover. But after I got the right help, my life transformed completely.
Now, I’m here to provide solutions tailored specifically to your journey. I’m based in Bedfordshire but I work with people from all over the UK.
If you’re here, you’ve already taken an important first step. Seeking help isn’t a sign of weakness – it’s an act of courage and self-care. There is hope, and healing is possible.
Without taking this step forward, you might find:
- Your relationships suffer, as anxiety creates walls between you and those you love
- Your physical and mental health deteriorates under the constant weight of stress
- Your world becomes smaller as you avoid more situations that trigger anxiety
- Your coping mechanisms stop working and it becomes harder to function
- You feel trapped in these negative emotions and your dreams and goals are disappearing
The impact of not seeking help for your anxiety, PTSD and trauma
You might think that you’re coping with things, but the impact of leaving anxiety and PTSD untreated properly can show up every aspect of your life:
- You can’t sleep and the smallest things can set you on edge, and you feel worried all the time
- Your relationships are suffering as you struggle to connect with your family, friends and partners
- You pull back, find yourself feeling irritable or arguing more with the important people in your life
- You’re finding it harder and harder to regulate your emotions and either feel numb, like you’re always on the verge of tears, or easy to anger
- You’re experiencing panic attacks over things that used to be easy
- You either can’t eat, you’re eating too much, or you’re suffering from a constant upset stomach
- Your work is suffering and you feel like you’re barely keeping your head above water
My clinic is based in Bedfordshire, but I can help you wherever you’re based in the UK, via Zoom.

This is for you if
- you’ve had these feelings for far too long or too intensely
- you’re motivated and mindful to do the necessary work
- you’re ready to make the investment in yourself, your health and your wellbeing
- you’re know it’s time to change things for the better
Remember, you deserve to not only feel better but to enjoy your life as well!
People who’ve worked with me have seen results they never thought possible: in some cases resolving issues that have been plaguing them for years.
You don’t just have to live with these feelings. I’ve worked with lots of people who’ve been told they can’t be helped – allowing them to live the life they really want.
Working from my clinic in Bedfordshire (or via Zoom), my approach is tailored to your unique needs. Using methods like hypnotherapy, NLP, Havening, and EMDR, sessions are calm, safe, and structured to help you feel at ease and access and resolve the underlying issues contributing to your anxiety, in a non-judgmental and comforting environment.
I believe that everyone can be helped if they’re ready to take those steps.

People often come to me when they’ve had other therapies, such as counselling, psychotherapy and CBT, which frequently involve reliving traumatic experiences over and over again.
The effect of this is that it becomes ingrained in the mind, and doesn’t change how it makes you feel (which is fundamentally what trauma and anxiety are about).
Or, you may have been told to ‘think differently’ – this is incredibly difficult when you know your feelings aren’t logical, but you can’t help feeling the way you do.
My approaches are different, and allow people to heal at a deeper level, without having to constantly revisit those traumatic times, or make ‘sticking plaster’ changes that won’t last. My techniques will have the same results, whether we’re working via Zoom, or from my Bedfordshire-based clinic.

Deciding to seek help for anxiety and trauma can feel daunting – there’s a stigma surrounding mental health that often leads people to hide their struggles. This can deepen the isolation and hold back recovery. Many put up with feeling like this in silence until they reach a tipping point where “enough is enough.”
Why wait? Choosing to get help now is a proactive step towards reclaiming your life, not a sign of weakness.
In our sessions (either from my clinic in Bedfordshire, or via Zoom), we address anxiety and trauma delicately, using proven techniques like Hypnotherapy, EMDR, NLP, and Havening. These methods provide a safe space to explore and resolve the root causes of your distress without judgment. My approach is tailored to your individual needs.
By resolving anxiety and trauma at a deep level, you can once again lead a fulfilled and peaceful life. With me, you’ll get results, even if you’ve struggled in the past to make lasting changes.
Now is the perfect time to start. Don’t keep your life on pause any longer – contact me today for a consultation, and take the first step towards a healthier, happier you.
I specialise in freeing people from trauma, stress, anxiety and phobias, giving them back the ability to fully enjoy their lives, and getting rid of struggle, worry and sleepless nights.
I had my own challenges with anxiety, trauma and PTSD, which affected many aspects of my life, career and health. I left my role as a nurse-lecturer in Bedfordshire because of this, which fuelled my passion to help people be happy and free from anxiety in every aspect of their lives.
I believe people shouldn’t have to ‘just cope with’ emotional overwhelm and/or anxiety. It is possible to be free and feel truly well – I know this from personal and professional experience. I help people achieve their goals to be free from anxiety, trauma, PTSD and depression, rather than just managing their symptoms with sticking plaster strategies.

Why People Fail to Get Help: Emotional overwhelm
Over the years, I’ve found that people have put off getting help for a number of reasons.
They might feel embarrassed or ashamed that they need help, rather than being able to solve the problem themselves. These emotions crashing together at the same time can cause emotional overwhelm, which can activate the fight, flight or freeze response. This can manifest in a number of ways, often showing up in the body as sleeplessness, stomach issues, panic attacks, racing heart and tearfulness to name a few. Emotional responses could range from feeling extremely stressed to feeling depressed and experiencing incredible sadness and low mood.
They might have tried different approaches, like CBT, in the past, and found that it didn’t work for them, so they think that nothing will work. The usual coping strategies don’t work, because it’s a problem that’s on the inside, not on the outside.
The catalyst for taking action is different for each person, but it’s often because they feel completely stuck in a specific area of their life: it could be their health, their relationships, their work, or something completely different. Whichever it is, they’ve realised they can’t move forward without the right help.
You might be experiencing emotional overwhelm if:
- Crying all the time
- Making lists but not able to keep on top of them
- Struggling to sleep or waking up early
- Memory issues
- Not being able to make decisions
- Spinning thoughts
- Being down on yourself all the time
- Unable to cope with small problems
- Getting more coughs and colds than usual
- Not able to laugh at anything
- Panic attacks (in the middle of the night)
- Comfort eating, or feeling like you can’t stomach anything

What will you feel like afterwards? This is a really interesting question: often people expect to feel ecstatic and like they should be singing from the rooftops, but the reality is that the absence of anxiety is feeling normal, and being able to do everything you want to do.
Imagine going from a black and white world to living in colour, a world where you can cope with normal experiences without worrying that you’re going to have a panic attack out of the blue, or feeling a lingering sense of dread.
Your body stops working against you, so you notice that all the physical symptoms – stomach upsets, racing heart, breathlessness – disappear, like you’ve hit the reset button.
You’re able to have a good night’s sleep, where you don’t wake up at 3am, and instead wake up in the morning feeling well-rested and looking forward to the day ahead.
You stop holding yourself back and worrying about the ‘what-ifs’.
Releasing anxiety and trauma can transform your life. It allows you to react to current situations without past experiences overshadowing your reactions. This freedom results in reduced anxiety, improved relationships, and a renewed sense of control over your emotional health and wellbeing. Past clients often tell me they feel lighter, more present, and more engaged with life.
Whether online or in person in Bedfordshire, our sessions are designed to maximise healing, allowing you to regain peace and ensure that your past does not dictate your future.
Making the decision to invest in yourself, in your health and wellbeing, can often seem overwhelming, but it’s the most rewarding thing you can do.
Don’t keep your life on pause any longer – if you’re reading this then you’ve already decided that it’s the right time to take action.
With me, you’re in safe, experienced, non-judgemental hands. With me, you’ll get results, even if you’ve struggled in the past to make lasting changes. My approach is different – it’s tailored to your unique experiences and needs, moving at a pace that feels right for you.

“Working with Adelle has been life-changing. I was struggling with anxiety, self-doubt, lack of confidence and massive stress at work following a promotion, but by working with Adelle, I have been able to overcome my fears and achieve my goals. I cannot recommend her enough!” Louise N
“I’d been struggling with anxiety and self-doubt, which escalated after becoming a parent. It also affected me at work – opportunities were being presented to me that I pulled back from because of this anxiety. Now I’m a confident, chilled parent, studying for a Masters degree to progress myself and help my little girls future!” Sam
“After one of the most stressful years I’ve ever had, I thought I was coping well. However, after falling to pieces over something that was disappointing but hardly the end of the world, I wondered what was wrong with me. And I struggled to pick myself up. I went to see Adelle and honestly couldn’t believe how much she helped me. She made me see that I wasn’t weak or silly, and I wasn’t going mad.” Jessica
The primary cause of anxiety is often an emotional trigger from somewhere in your past, hiding in your subconscious and being re-triggered now, so it plays out as anxiety in response to some worry or fear you have, or a particular situation you’re in.
‘Anxiety’ is an umbrella term that can cover a lot of issues we try to ignore, downplay, or assume are ‘just part of life’, such as:
- work-related stress
- health worries
- Imposter Syndrome and confidence
- relationship issues
- perfectionism, procrastination and people-pleasing
Major life events such as divorce, bereavement, illness or having a child can also trigger anxiety.
You don’t have to be in a warzone to have trauma and therefore PTSD.
A lot of my clients have struggled with the negative effects of traumatic experiences many years afterwards and this can be the reason for anxiety and depression that keeps popping up. You may have been told that you can’t get over PTSD, however, I have helped many people do so in a short period of time and without having to constantly revisit traumatic events.
Too many people do not get help quickly enough and leave problems to escalate: if you even suspect anxiety is affecting your life, then you need to do something about it.
Sometimes it can feel difficult to take that first step but it is important to take action and change things in your life when they aren’t working as they should. Now is exactly the right time to get in touch with Adelle and talk through your issues.
The truth is that anxiety feels different for each person – for some people it is mild discomfort; for others it is intense and incapacitating. For some people it may just affect a single are of their life, whilst for others it takes over completely.
Regardless, it’s important to take action as soon as you recognise there’s a problem.
After your initial consultation, each session takes about 1.5 hours. All sessions are done from my clinic in Bedfordshire and we’ll work together (via Zoom or in person) to bring back peaceful nights of sleep, boost your energy, and stabilise your mood. We’ll improve how you connect with the people you care about and give you strength in your parenting and your career. With the right tools and understanding, you can feel truly well again, not just on the surface, but deep down where it counts.
This is one of the biggest mistakes people make –anxiety puts our nervous system on high alert which is when we experience those uncomfortable, horrible feelings. The more you try to ‘push through’, the worse it gets, because you’re not dealing with the root cause of your anxiety.
